Bayern Munich draw second consecutive match for the German

This Tuesday, in their second consecutive tie for the German Championship, the Bayern Munchen was 1-1 with Cologne, at Allianz Arena, for the 17th round.

With the result, Bayern Munich has 36 points, four ahead of Lepizig, runner-up. That advantage could still narrow as Eintracht Frankfurt, Union Berlin and Freibrug, all on 30 points, could take second place, closing the gap on the leader to just three points.

Cologne reached 21 points and rose to 10th place in the German Championship.

Both clubs return to the field for the 18th round of the Bundesliga this weekend. The competition leaders receive Eintratcht Frankfurt, on Saturday, at 2:30 pm (BrasΓlia time). Cologne, in turn, visits Schalke 04, on Sunday, at 11:30 am.

Just three minutes into the game played this Tuesday, Cologne opened the scoring. In a corner kick, after defender Chabot’s deflection, Ellyes Skhiri was free in the small area and only had to push towards the goal.

Bayern’s equalizer came just 45 minutes into the second half, when Kimmich hit a beautiful shot from outside the area, taking the goalkeeper by surprise and giving final numbers to the match.
