Bulgarian “Levski” will pay 764 thousand rubles to the Russian “Spartak” and “Ural” for the cancellation of matches. The amount of the penalty was named by the publication “Theme of Sports”.
As it became known to the source, the European club will receive half of the amount from Krasnodar, which refused to play the match with the Bulgarians. The rest of the penalty will be covered from their own funds by head coach Stanimir Stoilov and executive director Ivaylo Ivkov.
On January 20, Levski refused to play friendly matches with Russian clubs during the training camp in the UAE. The team noted that the most important thing for them is unity with the fans, who opposed the organization of games with the Russians.
Meetings with Spartak and Ural were to be held on January 22 and 31, respectively. The match against Krasnodar was scheduled for January 17.
