The Senegalese striker Sadio Mané, who, in November last year, suffered an injury to his right fibula and, therefore, could not compete in the World Cup in Qatar, started, this Tuesday, running in training Bayern Munchenthree weeks before the duel against Paris Saint Germain, through the round of 16 of Europe Champions League.
“Great to see you around again Sadio!” tweeted Bayern, in a post accompanied by a video of the 30-year-old leaving the dressing room and entering the training ground.

Mané, who was the Bavarian team’s main signing for the season, was injured on November 8 last year, in the 6-1 thrashing of Werder Bremen, for the 14th round of the German Championship.
Due to the injury, he had to undergo surgery on November 17 and ended up being out of the World Cup in Qatar.
On February 14, Bayern Munich faces PSG at the Parc des Princes, in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, with the return scheduled three weeks later, on March 8, in Germany.
“I’m not counting on him for the first game against PSG,” Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann had said in mid-January, when Mané was well into his recovery programme.
