Black player misses Euro final leaves England squad

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has turned down an invitation to the England national team. This was reported on the website of the national team.

The black footballer will not help the national team in the November 2022 World Cup qualifiers. He decided to train at the club’s location as he wants to get in shape after undergoing shoulder surgery. The player returned to the field after three months of treatment and has not yet played a single meeting in full.

Rashford missed the start of the season with injury. The last time a player entered the field was in the final match of the European Championship between the national teams of England and Italy.

In the final of Euro 2020, the British lost to their opponents in a post-match penalty shootout with a score of 3: 2. Three misses were made by the black players of the Englishmen Rashford, Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho. After that, the players became targets of harassment on social networks, and British Parliamentary Natalie Ross suggested that Rashford “play less in politics and spend more time on football.”
