In the last clash, the Poles will face the weakest team of the group – Iran. Compared to the previous clash with Montenegro, coach Patryk Rombel decided to make two changes in the squad. This time two substitutes will not play: round Bartłomiej Bis and left-handed quarterback Szymon Działkiewicz. The first one got free. Działkiewicz, on the other hand, is still complaining about a minor ankle injury he suffered in the first half of the clash with Montenegro. Bisa and Działkiewicz will be replaced by the captain of the Polish national team, left quarterback Piotr Chrapkowski and circular Dawid Dawydzik. This will be the debut for the latter.
Poles, after four rounds, are in fourth place in group 1. They will certainly not improve this position. Even if they catch up with Slovenia, they will still be behind them in the table, because they lost the direct match.
