Calcio Finanza: Ronaldo ready to sue Juventus for 19 million euros owed him

Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to sue the Italian football club Juventus. It is reported by Calcio Finanza.

According to the publication, the club owed the striker 19 million euros as part of an unofficial agreement concluded during the coronavirus pandemic. The club’s players agreed to a pay cut in order to unofficially receive payments later, but Ronaldo never received this money.

In December last year, Ronaldo became the highest paid football player in the world. The forward signed a contract with the Saudi club Al-Nasr, according to which he will receive a salary of $ 200 million a year.

The Portuguese has been playing for Juventus since 2018. Together with the team, he twice became the champion of Italy. In 2021, Ronaldo moved to Manchester United, with whom he terminated the contract by mutual agreement of the parties a year later.
