Chelsea announced on Friday night the signing of yet another reinforcement for the current season. This is the young English striker Noni Madueke, 20 years old, who was at PSV, from the Netherlands. The player signed a seven-and-a-half-year contract with the Blues, with an option to extend for another year.
According to information from the local press, the London club disbursed around 35 million euros (R$ 198 million) to take him out of Dutch football. The player usually plays on the right wing and had drawn attention from other European giants.
Madueke went through Tottenham’s youth system, but became a professional at PSV, the team he has defended since the 2018/19 season. Over there, there were 20 goals and 14 assists in 80 matches played.

“Coming back to England and playing in the Premier League is a dream for me and my family. I can’t wait to get started. I’m excited by the owner’s vision for the future and to be at a club like this that wants to win at the highest level “, declared the athlete.
This is Chelsea’s 13th acquisition since the club was bought by American businessman Todd Boehly. As the team is not having the best time on the field, the new owner spared no effort to open his pocket and bring in new reinforcements.
