The VFLA said they were not looking for the head coach of the Russian national team through the announcement site
The press secretary of the All-Russian Federation of Athletics (VFLA) Alla Glushchenko denied the search for the head coach of the national team through the announcement site. Her words are quoted by NEWS.ru.
“We have not posted anything on this site. The vacancy for the head coach is on our website, apparently, they took it from there, ”explained Glushchenko. She emphasized that VFLA is not looking for a head coach by announcement, because a top-class specialist is required, and a person from the outside cannot come to this position.
In November, the World Athletics Association (World Athletics) extended the decision taken in March to remove Russian and Belarusian athletes from international competitions. It will remain in effect until further notice.
In 2015, the activities of the ARAF were suspended due to systematic violations of anti-doping rules by Russians. Domestic athletes could compete in international competitions only after receiving individual permits and in a neutral status.
