The Pumas of Mexican soccer announced the separation of Dani Alves this Friday after the Brazilian soccer player was sent to preventive detention in Barcelona, ​​accused of sexually assaulting a woman.

“The Universidad Nacional club has made the decision to terminate the employment contract with the player with just cause as of this day,” reported Leopoldo Silva, president of the Pumas, at a press conference.

Leopoldo Silva alluded to the values ​​of the Pumas as a representative soccer team of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, to terminate Dani Alves’ contract.
