Olympic medalist biathlete Khalili complained about the level of organization of Russian tournaments

Olympic medalist in the relay Karim Khalili complained about the level of organization of biathlon tournaments in Russia. It is reported by “Match TV”.

“In many places, the level of accommodation and nutrition of athletes leaves much to be desired. Still, high-level biathletes come, but sometimes it is very difficult for them to find decent food, which is necessary for recovery, ”said Khalili.

At the same time, the Russian added that the organizers are trying to raise the prestige of the competition. According to Khalili, biathletes solve nutritional problems on their own: athletes carry food and a slow cooker with them.

On September 16, 2022, it became known that the International Biathlon Union (IBU) has extended the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes, which has been going on since the beginning of March. The order will remain in effect until further notice.
