She stated that without hard, exhausting work, it is impossible for figure skaters to achieve great results. “The atmosphere on the ice is inspiring. On January 14, the Russian Anti-Doping Agency stripped Valieva of her gold medal at the 2022 Russian Championship. At the same time, the organization informed the World Anti-Doping Agency that the skater did not violate anti-doping rules.
Valieva was at the center of a doping scandal during the 2022 Olympics.
