In interview with ESPNAndrés Fassi, advisor to FC Juárez, assured that there is a consensus among the majority of club owners that Crazy be the one chosen to replace his compatriot Gerardo Martino at the helm of the Tri.
“The Mexican Soccer Federation has to decide. There is a consensus from most of the clubs for Bielsa to come (to Mexico) ”, he pointed out.
Fassi did not hide his predilection for Bielsa to be appointed as head of the green team for the World Cup process towards the 2026 World Cup.
“Bielsa is the great candidate and it would be the best decision in 30 years. I hope he comes, it is the best decision that Mexican soccer will make in its history, ”he assured.
According to Fassi, Marcelo would come to revolutionize Mexican soccer to put it on the path of the first world soccer.
“Mexico has to look for a coach like Marcelo Bielsa, who comes to solve the structure, the physiognomy, the soccer vision and the growth of soccer,” he said.
And he added: “What is Mexico missing? It lacks vision, it lacks that its leaders agree to make a plan for eight and 12 years with great seriousness and with a high level of capacity in the human resources that are chosen.
