Milan and Internazionale draw 1-1 in a derby for the Italian Championship

This Sunday, Milan e International tied the derby, 1-1, for the 12th round of the Italian Championship. Hakan Calhanoglu scored for the visitors at San Siro, while Stefan de Vrij (against) equaled for the home team.

With the result, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s team remains undefeated and is the runner-up in Serie A – equaled 32 points in the Naples. Inter, which has 25, occupies the third position in the table.

Milan returns to the field after the FIFA Date, on Saturday (20), at 16:45 (GMT), when they face the Fiorentina out of home. Internazionale, in turn, receives Napoli, on Sunday (21), at 2 pm.

The game – Internazionale, coached by Simone Inzaghi, opened the scoring at 11, with Turkish midfielder Calhanoglu, with a penalty. Six minutes later Milan, under the command of Stefano Pioli, equalized. After a free kick, Vrij’s defender headed against his own goal and evened the score. At 27, Lautaro Martínez missed a penalty and failed to put Inter ahead.

The complementary stage also had good chances. However, the teams failed to balance the nets. With more ball possession, Inter created opportunities, however, failed in submissions. Milan, in turn, pressed until the end, but was unsuccessful.
