Arsenal defeated Watford and is already six points behind the Premier League leaders

Emile Smith Rowe scored the only goal of the game, for the ‘Gunners’ to add their eighth straight game without losing.

Arsenal won again in the Premier League and added his eighth consecutive game undefeated, by defeating Watford, thanks to a goal from Emile Smith Rowe (1-0).

Arsenal’s young 10 scored for the third game in a row and he vindicated himself after Gareth Southgate did not count on him for the last call-up of the English team.

The English midfielder decided on a match that Arsenal deserved to have won earlier, after Bukayo Saka’s goal was annulled by VAR and Ben Foster saved Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from a penalty.

Smith Rowe, in the 56th minute, picked up a loose ball up front, after a good play from Ben White, and with his left foot he sent her to the net, unleashing the madness of an Emirates Stadium who has not seen his team lose since August 28, when they fell 5-0 against Manchester City.

Martin Odegaard, who came out with 20 minutes to go, could sentence the game, but in a great play that culminated with the right, when the ball went to the net, Aubameyang pushed it offside. Claudio Ranieri’s men ended the match with ten players sent off for a double yellow from Juraj Kucka.

Arsenal continues its climb and already surpasses Manchester United in the table. The Gunners, with a Mikel Arteta on a roll, they are fifth with 20 points, six behind leader Chelsea. While Watford was in 17th place, with 8 units. (D)
