Spanish Super Cup: Real Madrid and FC Barcelona already have their line-ups for the final this Sunday

The teams Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will play the first Spanish Classic of the season, this Sunday, in a tournament that is the responsibility of both, but which began with a new format such as the Spanish Super Cup.

Both teams achieved their pass by winning the two semifinals on penalties, last Thursday, when they faced Valencia FC and Betis, respectively.

Neither of them could defeat their rivals in regulation time, but despite this, they arrive at a higher pace knowing that two weeks ago they resumed their competitions.

If the Spanish Super Cup held in Saudi Arabia has any attraction, it is that the final game will be played by Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

The format was given so that both played the decisive game, as long as they beat other rivals in the semifinal, in this case Valencia and Betis, respectively, which happened.

The final will be played this Sunday (2:00 p.m. Ecuador time) in what will be the first Clásico of the year and the third that they play between August and January.

The new format of the Super Cup that is played in Saudi Arabia allows four teams to play a pair of direct semifinals, in which the archrivals are not in that instance.

Thus, if both win, the Spanish Classic will take place on neutral ground, but which guarantees a good box office if one takes into account that the two arrive in the middle of the football season with all their pieces.

Real Madrid: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Rudiger, Mendy; Valverde, Kroos, Modric; Rodrygo, Benzema and Vinicius.

FC Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Araujo, Koundé, Christensen, Jordi Alba; Gavi, Sergio Busquets, Frenkie De Jong; Dembele, Lewandowski, Pedri.
