The Odintsovo garrison military court found serviceman Alexander Leshkov guilty of beating an officer in Patriot Park, RBC reports citing the press service of the court. He was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in prison with a strict regime colony.

According to the case file, on November 13, during a drill review in Patriot Park, Private Leshkov “in an insulting manner using obscene words” complained about the organization of the service, the provision of property to the mobilized and fire training.

In the process, the soldier “deliberately blew smoke from a cigarette in the face” of Lieutenant Colonel Denis Mazanov, in connection with which he pushed him away with his hand. After that, according to the materials, Leshkov deliberately punched Mazanov in the chest.
