Juventus and Fiorentina faced each other, this Saturday, for the Italian Championship. Without many chances created and without goals, the Old Lady had the individuality of Cuadrado to win 1-0 and climbs to the eighth position in the table, with the same 18 points of Fiorentina, in seventh place.
For the next round, Juventus meets Lazio. The duel is scheduled for 11:00 am (GMT) on Saturday. On the same day, Fiorentina welcomes Milan at 14:00.
The game – The first half was marked by several wasted chances. On minute 34, Riccardo Saponara fired a shot from the edge of the area and the ball went just above the crossbar. Five minutes later, Cristiano Biraghi made a cross and Dusan Vlahovic headed in, taking paint off the crossbar.
In the second stage, both teams didn’t impose much in the attack. After Nikola Milenkovic’s, the Youth stamped the post with Chiesa.
On minute 37, Chiesa made room for the kick and swelled the net, but the goal was disallowed for offside. At 45, Cuadrado, in his race, strength and daring, found a great goal in a cross kick to ensure Juve’s victory.
