Celta de Vigo and Barcelona draw in Spanish

For the 13th round of the Spanish Championship, Barcelona faced Celta de Vigo this Saturday and, after opening 3-0 in the first half, managed to take the tie. Ansu Fati, Busquets and Memphis Depay scored for the culés, while Iago Aspas (2) and Nolito decreased on the scoreboard.

With the result, the team that will now be led by Xavi remains in ninth position, with 17 points. Celta de Vigo, in turn, rises to 14th place, with 12 added.

The worry for Barcelona after the game will be injuries to Ansu Fati and Eric Garcia. Shirt 10 felt muscle pain in his left thigh and asked for a replacement. The defender had an injury found in his right leg.

Barcelona has an appointment only next Saturday, against Espanyol. The duel is scheduled for 5 pm (GMT), at Camp Nou. On the same day, Celta de Vigo will face Villareal earlier, at 10 am.

The game – The kick off was former Celta de Vigo goalkeeper Sergio Alvarez, who ended his career with a knee injury.

The first chance created by Barcelona was to celebrate. After just four minutes, Ansu Fati received the ball in the area, passed through the mark and kicked across the left corner to open the scoring. Controlling the game very well, the cúles increased the advantage at 17. Nico González played on the left and crossed low for Busquets. Shirt 5 dominated and placed the ball in the back of the net.

At 33, it was Memphis Depay’s turn to appear in the game. Jordi Alba received it from González and crossed the attacker’s head, who dodged and scored the third of the match.

If Barcelona had an almost perfect time before, in the other 45 minutes the team relaxed and Celta went full steam ahead. On minute four, Brazilian Thiago Galhardo received the ball in the area and kicked the ball into Ter Stegen’s goal, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

A minute later, Javi Galán shot, the goalkeeper missed and let the ball pass. Araújo cut almost on the line, but he didn’t stop Iago Aspas from taking the surplus and reducing the advantage. At 23, Nolito had his goal disallowed, but four minutes later, the story was different. He received a cross from Cervi and, with a goldfish, sent it into the right corner of Ter Stegen.

In the last minute, Barcelona managed to take the tie. Galán was thrown into the area from the left and played for Iago Aspas to shoot with the first shot and put an end to the game.
