Hard setback that Usain Bolt has suffered. The Jamaican athlete and world record holder, retired since 2017, has been the victim of a millionaire robbery in one of his bank accounts, installed in a company in his country, as his representative Nugent Walker has assured The Cleaner newspaper, published daily ACE from Spain.

“Bolt’s account located within the Jamaican company Stocks and Securities Limited has been compromised,” says his manager.

In the previous days, the complainant noticed a series of fraudulent banking movements, which are being investigated by the Jamaican Police together with the Financial Investigations Division and the Financial Services Commission with the aim of clarifying the origin and reason for which Usain Bolt has been a victim of this problem, which has made him lose a large amount of money. “All appropriate steps have been taken to get to the bottom of this.”

A former employee of the company, the main suspect

The athlete’s representative has not disclosed the exact amount of money his client has lost. “He has been with the entity for more than ten years and they are reviewing his entire portfolio.”

However, the police authorities point to the figure of a former employee of the company, as the alleged perpetrator of this malpractice due to his involvement in other millionaire frauds against various clients of the company.

The defendant’s legal team assures that the defendant has no connection with this illegal movement, although he prefers to remain cautious. At the moment, Bolt has not spoken publicly on social networks or other information channels, although more details about what happened are expected in the coming days. (D)
