The world and European champion in single skating Elizaveta Tuktamysheva assessed the impact of romantic relationships on the career of figure skaters. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
“What helps me in everyday life helps me in sports too. The young man also helps, unless it’s a toxic relationship. Fortunately, I wasn’t in such, ”the athlete shared, adding that she did not share her personal life and career.
On December 30 last year, Tuktamysheva told what she was going to do after leaving the sport. “I want to study for some other profession – management, psychology, advertising, public speaking,” said the figure skater. She recalled that she already has a coaching diploma, but she would like to develop further and prove herself outside of sports.
Tuktamysheva is the 2015 World and European Champion. At the second world championship in her career, where the athlete went in 2021, she became a silver medalist.
