Coach Leal reveals Pele asked not to open his locker at Santos while he was alive
The second coach of the Mexican club Atlético de San Luis, Gustavo Leal, spoke about the instructions that Pelé left for the Brazilian Santos. His words are quoted by TUDN.
The specialist said that he was in the Santos dressing room and saw that no one took the player’s locker after he left the club. “He put some things in there, closed it and said, ‘You can only open it when I am no longer with you,’” Leal explained.
