Dmitry Guberniev called skiers Nepryaeva and Bolshunov the best athletes in Russia

On December 14, Bolshunov and Shcherbakova were recognized as athletes of the year in Russia. They became laureates of the National Sports Award in the categories “Athlete of the Year” and “Athlete of the Year”, respectively.
Shcherbakova won the women’s singles at the Beijing Olympics, Bolshunov won three gold medals, silver and bronze in cross-country skiing.
