Figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva says she has no plans to return to tournaments
Two-time world figure skating champion Evgenia Medvedeva spoke about her return to the competition. Her words are quoted by the publication “Arguments and Facts”.
“I continue to skate, jump, but there are no plans to enter tournaments. I please the audience in a different way – I perform in shows and in performances, I conduct master classes, ”said the athlete, adding that she could continue performing if she wanted to.
On December 9, Medvedeva spoke about the rhythm of life outside of sports. “I thought that I did not plan to perform and I would rest. It’s such a mess, guys. The schedule is now mega-packed, but there is no routine – it’s cool, ”she said.
Medvedeva is a two-time world and European champion. At the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, the figure skater won two silver medals – in team competitions and in the individual competition. Zagitova won the singles competition.
