Felipe Anderson scores, but Lazio gives a draw to Olympique de Marseille

For the fourth round of the Europa League group stage, Lazio and Olympique de Marseille played a great game and drew 2-2 this Thursday at the Vélodrome. The result was not good for either of the two teams, who are still fighting for a place in the knockout.

The hosts went ahead with Milik, in a penalty suffered by Milik, in the 32nd minute. In the first-half injury time, Brazilian Felipe Anderson had the upper hand in the small area after a deflected shot and touched goalkeeper Pau López’s exit to tie.

At the beginning of the second stage, Ciro Immobile took advantage of defender Saliba’s failure, invaded the area and hit placed to turn the game around. In the final stretch, a confused move in the Lazio area ended with Payet taking advantage and sending the first to Strakosha’s net, giving final numbers to the duel.

With five points conquered in four games, Lazio occupies the second position in Group E. Olympique de Marseille appears in third place, with four points. Galatasaray lead with eight points, while Lokomotiv Moscow are bottom-line with two.
