Full-back Reece James had yet another injury to his right knee confirmed by chelsea. The English club said the player will be sidelined for about a month after being injured again in the team’s victory against Bournemouth.

Reece James had already suffered a similar problem in the same knee shortly before the world Cup. For this reason, the 23-year-old winger was not in Qatar to compete in the World Cup with England.
On his return to the pitch, in the match between Chelsea and Bournemouth, Reece James played the full first half, but in the second half it lasted less than 10 minutes. The side felt a discomfort in the knee and was substituted. He was later seen using protection in place.
The Chelsea player used his social networks to thank the fans for their support and regret what happened. Reece James called the year 2022 “the toughest year yet”.

With that, Chelsea have one more player on the injured list. In addition to Reece James, N’Golo Kanté, Ben Chilwell and Armando Broja, among others, are out.
The next match for the London team will be this Sunday, at 1:30 pm (BrasÃlia time), against Nottingham Forest, for the 18th round of the English Championship. Chelsea are in eighth place with 24 points.
