Liverpool and Ajax reach the last 16 of the Champions League

Atlético de Madrid (3rd, 4 points) complicated the classification in a particularly difficult bracket.

The Liverpool and Ajax Amsterdam they became this Wednesday the third and fourth team to secure their mathematical classification to the round of 16 of the Champions League, this Wednesday in the 4th day of the group stage.

At Anfield, Liverpool defeated Atlético de Madrid 2-0 and Ajax won 3-1 in Dortmund. With those victories, both joined Bayern Munich and Juventus, the two clubs that on Tuesday had become the first to ensure their presence in the next stage of the competition.
