The support that he has had from Guillermo Almada, Pachuca coach, for the Ecuadorian midfielder Romario Ibarra has been fundamental and he considers that this influenced the decision of the Mexican club to extend his contract until 2025.

The 28-year-old tricolor arrived at the Tuzo club in 2019 and last Friday his squad officially announced the renewal of their contractual relationship.
“With Professor Guillermo Almada I have found regularity and a level that, before his arrival, my continuity was in doubt, I heard rumors that perhaps I was not going to continue in the team, he came and gave me all his confidence,” said the footballer.
“I got to work and I rewarded him with work in training sessions and games, that is reflected in results such as returning to the national team, we must continue on that path, which is the correct one, I think that, based on that, the Club Pachuca was interested in my renewal,” added Ibarra in statements to Hidalgo’s Sun.
Ibarra performed in the commitments that the Ecuadorian National Team had, in recent days against Saudi Arabia and Japan, as part of their preparation for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
“It will be essential to reach the World Cup with a competitive rhythm, we must continue working as I do in training and matches,” he said.
“With the Ecuadorian National Team, on the last FIFA Date I was in both games as a starter, that gives me confidence,” added the Ecuadorian.
Ibarra insisted on his gratitude to Pachuca for the treatment he has had from all the collaborators that make it up. (D)
