Euskaraz irakurri: Bidasoak puntu bat lortu du Mazedonian hirugarren postuan mantentzeko (29-29)
Bidasoa-Irun took a point from the field of Eurofarm Pelister from North Macedonia that allows them to consolidate third place in the European League, after a disputed match that they were able to win in the last seconds.
Bidasoa obviated from the outset to advance his defense to 5:1a resource that had given them enormous benefits in the first leg disputed last week in Irun and the locals took advantage of the softness of the Irundarra wall to crush Jakub’s goal with outside shots from the Tunisian Hosni and Henneberg.
Eurofarm thus dominated the scoreboardalthough with the yellow ones always in the rear-view mirror when Jon Azkue Y asier grandson began to lead their team, but with the 10-10 a double exclusion of Dariel Garcia Y furundarena gave a huge numerical advantage to the locals who in two minutes went three up and forced Jacobo Cuétara to stop a game that threatened to break.
The pause did not initially take effect of the dead time because the Normacedonians, with Hosni unleashed in attack, moved away on the scoreboard at the same time that Bidasoa’s defense became smaller, although they improved in time in the final minutes to leave in a goal the disadvantage with a goal from ten meters on Asier Nieto’s horn.
A few minutes of scoring with the score under control began a second half in which Bidasoa grew in all facets and went on, with goals from six meters from Da Silva and a timely Ugarte, to lead the scoreboard (22-24).
Thus began another game in which those from Irún ruled, but could not stop a Hosni unleashed in attack, who minimized the differences and opened the way to a frantic finale in which victory could fall either way.
Bidasoa enjoyed the last possession with the 29-29 on the scoreboard and twenty seconds ahead, Asier Nieto played the last shot, but it was blocked by the Normacedonian defense to sign a distribution of points that leaves a good taste in the mouths of those from Irún.
