Pele’s daughters deny reports that their father is in palliative care
Flavia and Kelly Nascimento, daughters of Brazil’s three-time World Cup champion Pelé, have commented on their father’s deteriorating condition. Their words are quoted in Twitter Globo Esporte.
The women denied media reports that their father was in the terminal stages of palliative care. Kelly said she was tired of receiving condolences from people on social media. “We come to the hospital not to say goodbye. He is sick, old, but is there because of a lung infection. My father is on antibiotics, and when he gets better, he will return home again, ”one of the football player’s daughters emphasized.
On December 4, Reuters reported that 82-year-old Pele’s condition had worsened. According to the publication, chemotherapy is no longer helping him. Prior to this, the Brazilian was unscheduled hospitalized with general edema of the body and heart failure.
