O English Championship continues with the fierce dispute for the leadership this weekend. O Arsenal wants to stay at the top against Wolverhampton, away from home.
The Gunners arrive motivated for the last round before the stop for the World Cup. Arsenal need the win to stay in first place without relying on other results.
Coach Mikel Arteta downplayed the leadership and stressed that his goal is to make Arsenal improve performance every round.
“It would be great, but our focus is to play better every day and try to play better than we played against Chelsea. If we do that, our chances of winning the game will increase and that’s where our focus is,” he said.
Wolverhampton is not doing a good campaign in the Premier League and is having a bad time of the season. The hosts have not won for four rounds and are in the relegation zone.
On Saturday, the manchester city can put pressure on the rival. The Citizens open the round against Brentford, at Ettihad Stadium.
A win will put City to sleep at the top of the competition and force Arsenal to have to win.
Check out the games of the round:

- Liverpool v Southampton
- Nottingham Forest v Crystal Palace
- Tottenham v Leeds United
