Striker Erling Haaland is considered a doubt for the game between Manchester City and Leicester, next Saturday, for the 14th round of the English Premier League.
The player was substituted at halftime in the clash against Borussia Dortmund, in the Champions League, due to a foot problem. The player was seen limping last Wednesday at a Manchester hospital during routine check-ups and tests.
The good news is that the Norwegian has not been seen with crutches or protective boots, which pretty much rules out any serious injury.
Haaland has 22 goals in 16 games for Manchester City this season, making him one of the greats in football at the moment. The Norwegian scored two goals in the last round of the Premier League, when City beat Brighton 3-1.
Pep Guardiola’s team is in second place in the Premier League with 26 points, two less than leaders Arsenal. The game against Leicester will be Saturday, at 08:30 (Brasília time), at King Power Stadium.
Erling Haaland was seen limping at the Manchester Institute of Health & Performance today for routine checkups and tests, but came out smiling, without crutches or protective boots. Information that a serious injury has been ruled out.
