Bellator President Scott Cocker has revealed the name of a possible next opponent for Russian mixed martial artist (MMA) Fedor Emelianenko. His words are quoted by BJPenn.
“We offered Anderson Silva an MMA fight against Fedor. We had a rather short conversation, but I think we should return to discussing it. The best fighter will meet in the cage against the second best, ”said the head of the organization.
Cocker added that he wants to fight in Japan or at Madison Square Garden in New York. “It will be difficult to agree on a weight category, but first you need to start a dialogue, and then we’ll see,” he said.
