Lokomotiv Moscow lost to Fakel Voronezh with a score of 0:2 in the RPL match

Lokomotiv Moscow lost to Fakel Voronezh in the match of the ninth round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.

The meeting was held in Voronezh at the stadium “Central Stadium of Trade Unions” and ended with the score 2:0 in favor of the hosts. In the 45th minute, defender Yevgeny Morozov scored a goal, in the 57th minute – midfielder Irakli Kvekveskiri. For Fakel, the victory was the first of the season.

For the “railroad workers”, the defeat was the third in a row – the team lost to Akhmat in the RPL (1: 2) and Nizhny Novgorod in the Russian Cup (0: 2). After nine matches, Lokomotiv is in 11th place in the RPL standings with 20 points. Fakel is in 14th place with seven points. Zenit St. Petersburg is in the lead with 20 points.

In the next round, Lokomotiv will play Spartak Moscow on the road, and Fakel will play Sochi. Both meetings will be held on September 18.
