Without Messi, PSG visits RB Leipzig for Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain does not want to give chance to the Champions League. This Wednesday, the French are going to the field against RB Leipzig, at 5 pm (GMT), in Germany.

The visitors have seven points and want to maintain the lead in group A. But PSG will not have the Argentine Lionel Messi, who was banned with pain in his knee and thigh.

Coach MaurĂcio Pochettino admitted that PSG will have a complicated commitment.

“It will be a difficult game. Every match is different and we always want to do better. Leipzig are a very physical team that will make things difficult for us,” he said.

On the other hand, Leipzig disappoint in the Champions League. The owners of the house have not yet scored points in the group.

Coach Jesse Marsch asked for the support of the crowd to seek a reaction.

“Obviously, we need points. Before a game like this, mental preparation is extremely important. But the energy that fans bring to the stadium can also help us a lot,” he said.

For the same group, Manchester City will face Club Brugge, in England.

Group C

Also this Wednesday, Borussia Dortmud will have a direct confrontation against Ajax, in Germany. The duel is worth the group’s leadership.

Sporting, on the other hand, tries to continue with a chance of qualifying against Besiktas, in Portugal.
