The September, 10th will dispute the 20th stage of the Tour of Spain, with departure in Moralzarzal and arrival in the port of Navacerrada. It will be the stage on the eve of the end of the race, the moment to decide the winner.

Cyclists face a journey of 181 kilometers. With the race as it is, the teams’ strategy could be decisive as they will be able to go for the stage from the start.

They will arrive immediately at the first port, since they will face the port of Navacerrada (1st category) at kilometer 34, with 10.3 kilometers of ascent and an average slope of 6.8%. At kilometer 126.8, you will arrive at the port of canence (2nd category) will be the second they will have to climb: the climb will last for 7.5 kilometers and the average gradient is 4.9%. The port of The Morcuera1st category, at kilometer 143.7, has a climb of 9.4 kilometers and an average slope of 6.9%. Lastly, at kilometer 174.3, the cyclists will have to climb the Cotos pass, a 1st category, where they will travel 10.3 kilometers uphill and they will meet a rise with average slopes of 6.9%.

As it is the penultimate stage, the winner of La Vuelta 2022 will be decided there.
