The Ecuadorian attacker saw the red card at minute 71 of the game against Querétaro, 10 minutes after he entered the field of play for Igor Lichnovsky, a period in which he also scored at 66.
The play was reviewed by VAR, but the whistler Ismael López determined that the red was well taken and the striker left the field of play.
Caicedo will have to serve the suspension game next Sunday against the Tuzos, where Juan Pablo Vigón will not be present either, expelled for rough play. (D)
