This Wednesday, Nice announced the signing of goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel from Leicester. The Dane had been playing for the English team since 2011 and signed a three-year contract with the French, according to the newspaper. The Guardian.

Schmeichel, 35, joined Leicester 11 years ago and won four titles with the club, including the Premier League cup history in 2015/16 under Claudio Ranieri. In addition, he has also lifted the trophies of the Second Division (2013/14), the FA Cup (2020/21) and the FA Super Cup (2021).
In all, Kasper Schmeichel played 478 games with the Foxes. In the Danish national team, the goalkeeper played in 84 matches, participating in the Euro 2020 semi-finalist campaign.
