The Poles made a sensation in the 100 m relay. Polish record and a medal

The Poles were composed of: Adrian Brzeziski, Przemek Sowikowski, Patryk Wykrota and Dominik Kope. They ran brilliantly from the start and made shifts very well. Before the last changes, however, they were not in a medal position. Then the bundle went to Dominic Kope. The Polish Champion ran great. Here, before the finish line, he will overtake the Dutchman and provide the Poles with a bronze medal.

Polish record for the relay race

The Poles had a time of 38.15, which was a Polish record! They improved it by as much as 16 hundredths of a second. Ten years ago, during the Olympic Games in London, this result will be established by a quartet composed of: Kamil Masztak, Dariusz Ku, Robert Kubaczyk and Kamil Kryski.

The gold medal was won by the UK players (37.67), and the silver medal by the French (37.94). The fourth position was taken by the Dutch, and the pit by the Swiss. The hosts, that is, the Germans, did not finish the race.

– And what, unbelievers? This medal tastes fantastic and it feels amazing. I did not expect that with such changes we can still break the Polish record. We are surprised with this result, we are afraid that we have crossed the line with changes. However, it worked. We still have reserves – Poles said at the finish line in an interview with TVP Sport.

This is the thirteenth medal for the Polish national team at the European Championships.
