British boxer Fury says he wants $147.6 million to fight Usyk
British boxer Tyson Fury has named the amount he wants to receive for a duel with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. It is reported by The Sun.
According to the source, the athlete wants to earn 125 million pounds (147.6 million dollars) for this fight. In his Twitter he said he was ready to fight the Ukrainian.
Earlier, on August 22, the Daily Mail reported that the duel between Fury and Usyk was going to be organized on December 17, the day before the World Cup final in Qatar. It was noted that it could take place in the city of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
On the night of August 21 in Jeddah, Usyk defeated Briton Anthony Joshua by a split decision. Thus, the Ukrainian retained the titles of the champion according to the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and World Boxing Association (WBA).
Usyk has won all 20 fights in his career. Fury has 32 wins, one draw and no losses.
