Led by Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal thrash Bournemouth

O Arsenal won his third victory in the English Premier League by defeating Bournemouth this Saturday. At the Dean Count Stadium, with great performance by the Brazilian Gabriel Jesus, the visitors were superior and got a rout, by 3 to 0.

With the result, Arsenal continues with 100% success in the competition. Now with nine points, the team takes the lead in the table and guarantees, at least, the second place at the end of the round, depending on the result of the duel between Manchester City and Newcastle. In the next round, the London team faces Fulham, at Emirates Stadium, at 1:30 pm (GMT), next Saturday.

Burnemouth, on the other hand, reach their second defeat this season, with three points so far. The team’s next challenge will be against Norwich, at Carrou Road Stadium, next Tuesday, at 15:45, for the second round of the English League Cup.

Arsenal were vastly superior in the first half. In the 5th minute, Brazilian Gabriel Jesus made a great move and, after dribbling three opponents, put Gabriel Martinelli face to face with the goalkeeper. Odegaard was attentive and took advantage of the rebound to open the scoring.

The second goal came shortly after, in the 10th minute. Gabriel Jesus received it inside the penalty area and, when dominating, saw Odegaard take the lead and hit hard into the back of the net. In the second half, Xhaka dominated and passed to Saliba. The defender hit first, placed, and scored a goal for Arsenal, 3-0.
