Bitci Baskonia have signed Lamar Peters With which reinforces the base position until the end of the season, as announced by the Basque club this Thursday. The American player of 23 years and 1.83 meters, trained at Mississippi State University and played in the Development League with the New York Knics team during the 2019-2020 campaign.
Peters comes from the Turkish Bursaspor with which last season he averaged 9.9 points and 6.4 assists in the Ottoman league, while in Eurocup he went up to 18.7 points, 7.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game, with 60% of success in triples, in the three games he played.
The player will arrive in Vitoria in the next few days to join training under Dusko Ivanovic and make his Euroleague debut against Maccabi on Friday if the Montenegrin coach deems it appropriate.
