The fight of Russian Zubaira Tukhugov at the UFC tournament in the USA was canceled due to visa problems
Russian mixed martial artist (MMA) Zubaira Tukhugov will not be able to take part in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament in the United States. This is reported by MMA Junkie journalist Nolan King in his Twitter.
The fight of 31-year-old Tukhugov was canceled due to the problems of the Russian with obtaining an American visa. A friend of former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was scheduled to face Nate Landwehr at a tournament in Las Vegas on August 7.
On July 12, it was reported that Khabib Nurmagomedov’s cousin, Abubakar Nurmagomedov, faced the same problem. Due to the inability to perform in the United States, the Russian could not fight Philip Rowe at the UFC tournament on July 16.
Tukhugov fought his last fight in October 2021. Then the Russian won a victory over Ricardo Ramos. In total, the native of Chechnya has 20 wins with five defeats and one draw in MMA.
