The governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov published in his Telegram channel photos of a house that burned down and was destroyed as a result of a night emergency in Belgorod.

“I met with the residents of house number 29 on the 2nd South Lane. The roof of the house caught fire here. There are no dead or injured. We will restore the house. Emergency services are working on the spot to determine the cause of the fire,” the head of the region said.

Recall that on the night of Sunday in the city, presumably, the air defense system worked, a series of explosions occurred, as a result of which three people died and four were injured. As Gladkov reported earlier, “partial destruction of 11 apartment buildings along Mayakovsky, Michurin, Chumichov, Popov and Pavlov streets” was recorded. “As well as at least 39 private residential buildings along the streets of Mayakovsky, Popov, Pavlov, partially destroyed, 5 of them completely,” the governor specified, assuring that all necessary assistance would be provided to residents.

We add that on the territory of the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine, an increased “yellow” level of terrorist danger is still in effect (previously it was extended until July 9), security measures have also been strengthened in the Kursk region bordering Ukraine.
