This Wednesday afternoon, the discovery of a human head was reported in the middle of garbage that was left on Benalcázar and Costa Rica streets, in the 24 de Mayo neighborhood, in the center of Huaquillas.
The residents said that a junk dealer discovered a wooden box with a plastic wrap and that they notified the Police.
“They have left that garbage on the street; It is not known at what point they left that box with the human head. We are surprised by what is happening in Huaquillas. A few days ago they left a body near my house, ”said a resident, who has his home a few meters from the place of discovery.

The units of the National Police arrived at the site and surrounded the scene, while investigations are carried out to identify the victim, in addition to locating the rest of the body. It is presumed that this violent act was recorded during the early hours of the morning.
After collecting the evidence, the head was transferred to the Machala Forensic Center. It was reported that during the following hours they will carry out an operation in the outlying areas of Huaquillas to try to locate the body.
On May 26, in this same canton, a body was found in a garbage tank. The police chiefs assured that the violent deaths would be related to the struggle to control clandestine crossings on the border between Ecuador and Peru. (YO)
