1. New Moon: people born in this lunar phase they are spontaneous and follow their impulses. Life is a great adventure for them. They live in the moment. They can be quite innocent (and sometimes naive), but their belief that anything is possible is often their greatest gift. In many ways, they are not limited by the ego-based insecurities that their peers wallow in. Action is the name of their game. They enjoy starting things, but may need to develop a larger following, or find other people to help them get there.

3. First Quarter Moon: They tend to be changeable. They have a solid grasp on the old way of doing things and are looking to improve the formula, or completely reconfigure it. Intellect and intuition are equally important to First Trimester types. They want to think things through before rushing into action. But when it comes time to act, they don’t hesitate too long. These guys function well under intensity and pressure and can find quick solutions during a crisis. Although they do not follow their instinct, they appreciate the spirit of spontaneity. They tend to plan for the near future rather than the long term and may need help budgeting or opening a retirement account. They study quickly, but because of their unorthodox methods (pounding the pavement, DIY tactics, working late hours) they risk falling behind when their “babies” get on.

5. Full Moon: they are natural providers who know how to live life to the fullest. Trusting your ability to manifest and succeed. They can even have a fatherly air about them, as they are generous and love to share. They may be so busy pursuing their ambitions that they forget to cultivate their individual and spiritual selves. Full Moon people can become spiritual as a result of a crisis or failure, a situation that forces them to look beyond the material world.

6. Waning Gibbous: they have their own rhythm. They are often trendsetters and thought leaders: thinking (and dressing) innovatively is their natural expression. Although they enjoy attention and interaction with others, they can also be lonely. They prefer to connect with high ideas or even with the divine forces of the universe than with ordinary people. Since others tend to follow their lead—especially when it comes to more extravagant or spiritual activities—they must be careful not to develop a guru complex.

7. Last trimester: those born under this lunar phase are renegades at heart. Their independence and individuality are the basis of their happiness. They enjoy stirring the pot: the value of surprise is their secret weapon and they will keep the world guessing. Although they like to interact with people, they like the pleasure of their own company as much or more. Self-sufficient and in tune with their inner guidance, they don’t want to be weighed down by responsibility towards other people.

8. Dark Waning Moon: People born under this moon phase are a bit from another world. Their souls are a bit tired, as if they’ve been through all this before and are wondering, “What the hell am I doing here again?” In fact, they have probably enjoyed more than one life on this plane. Balsamic Moon types are spiritually inclined thinkers who aren’t entirely comfortable in their own skin. It is as if their reluctance to incarnate (again!) keeps them out of their bodies.
