The president of the National Assembly, Guadalupe Llori, filed a complaint with the State Attorney General’s Office for non-compliance with legitimate decisions of the competent authority.
The complaint was filed at 4:00 p.m. on April 26, 2022. The brief consists of 70 pages and is signed by Santiago Salazar in his capacity as judicial attorney for the president of the National Assembly, Guadalupe Llori.

In the account of the events, Llori points out that he filed the complaint with the aim of carrying out the respective investigations.
The request to the Prosecutor’s Office is made once the plenary session of the National Assembly decided to include in the agenda of session 772, on April 26, a resolution proposed by the legislator Marcela Holguín (UNES) to form a commission ad hoc which will be in charge of processing the complaint filed by legislator Esteban Torres (PSC) for alleged breach of duties and which was qualified by the Legislative Administration Council (CAL) on April 11.
The inclusion of the multi-party commission for debate received the support of 93 votes, while the motion with the integration of that commission obtained 81 votes. The commission is made up of Assembly members Pamela Aguirre (UNES), Peter Calo (PK-R), Pedro Zapata (PSC), Lucía Placencia (ID) and John Vinueza (EU). (I)
