Over the past month, most Russians have changed their lifestyle. According to a report released on the results of a study by the NAFI Analytical Center, 65% of Russians talk about changes in their lifestyle. According to 21% of Russians, these changes have become significant for them.
According to the monitoring results, 58% of Russians began to work more and rest less. 57% of Russians began to spend more time on the Internet in search of news and other information. 45% began to spend more time with their families. Also, more than a third of respondents reported that they began to read more (38%), go in for sports (38%), and also visit the fresh air (34%).
Russians aged 35 to 44 began to work more (74%).
Older Russians are more likely to note that socio-economic changes have not affected their lifestyle (41% in the 55+ group).
Irina Gildebrandt, director of socio-economic research at the NAFI Analytical Center, noted that the changes occurred due to increased anxiety about maintaining a job, income and family well-being, as well as an exaggerated need to watch the news. “In these conditions, it is important to try to continue to adhere to previously developed daily habits, set a fixed schedule for viewing information resources, include healthy and positive activities in daily practices – time with family, sports and outdoor walks,” she emphasized.
