Biden announced attempts “at any cost” to avoid a conflict with the Russian Federation, but threatened to “respond” in the event of cyber attacks against the United States

The United States is determined to resolve issues with the Russian Federation diplomatically. Washington wants to avoid a conflict with Moscow by any means, Anne Neuberger, US presidential adviser on cybersecurity, said at a briefing.

She stressed that US President Joe Biden wants to “avoid war at all costs in order to truly invest in diplomacy.” “The President has made it clear that we are not looking for a conflict with Russia, but if Russia initiates a cyber attack against the United States, we will respond,” Neuberger added, quoted by RBC.

Earlier, former US President Donald Trump said that the current head of state, Joe Biden, fears Russia’s nuclear weapons and therefore avoids attacking it in connection with a special operation in Ukraine. He criticized the domestic and foreign policies of the Biden administration. In his opinion, she allowed “the terrible surrender in Afghanistan and the Ukrainian crisis – a humanitarian tragedy of incredible proportions.” At the same time, he expressed confidence that he would be able to prevent the events in Ukraine.

Recall that on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass.
