International companies leaving the Russian market are offered to settle in Finland. This is reported by the Finnish broadcasting company Yle.
“Now we are looking into our overseas target markets in the US, Europe, Japan, etc. to see if there are any international companies doing product research and development in Russia, especially software, and if so, we would like to offer them to discuss with us the transfer of activities to Finland. But at this stage, it is really under study, says Antti Aumo, director of Business Finland.
The state organization for financing innovative projects and attracting investments, Business Finland, is primarily interested in software development departments that were previously located in St. Petersburg and other cities near Finland.
