The Ministry of Health of Ukraine issued a ban on the registration of Belarusian medicines in the country. The corresponding document is published on the agency’s website.
As follows from the decree, 39 drugs will be excluded from the state register of medicines of Ukraine, including such drugs as Aceceks, Arpeflu, Riboxin and others. Their registration certificates will be terminated. The ban applies to drugs manufactured by firms with a legal address or place of production in Belarus.
At the same time, according to the text of the document, already imported medicines can be sold and used in the country until the expiration date.
On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.” In response to Russia’s actions, Western countries (USA, Canada, EU, UK, Japan) announced new, tougher sanctions against the Russian Federation, including financial and economic ones.
